Constellation Quilt
An introduction to embedding circuits into fabric

Developed at the Children's Creativity Museum in San Francisco, CA, this workshop encourages children to design their own acre of space, including instruction regarding how to embed a simple LED circuit into their quilt square to make their stars sparkle. Finished  quilt squares are sewn together into a giant constellation quilt! (workshop development, design & facilitation, circuit design)

Currently installed at the Children's Creativity Museum in San Francisco, this Constellation Quilt lights up when hands complete the circuit!

The quilt below was assembled by a team of tiny (aspiring) astro-artists in San Francisco, ages 4-8.
